Unlike traditional ducted air conditioners, the SEZ-M Series offers a low-profile design that integrates seamlessly into low ceilings or concealed behind a bulkhead, preserving the aesthetic integrity of your space. With a height of just 200 mm, these units can be installed in homes with low ceiling space where other ducted systems are too big to fit. The low profile also makes them ideal for bulkhead installation in living/family rooms, apartments or above a wardrobe. It is the ideal solution for those who want the functionality and comfort produced by a split system but have limited wall or ceiling space required by a conventional ducted unit.
For a greater level of indoor air quality, the SEZ-M Series bulkhead system can be fitted with the optional Plasma Quad Connect (part no. MAC-100FT-E), an innovative, bolt-on high-grade filtration system with proven results in inhibiting airborne influenza virus particles, dust, mould and other inhalable particles down to PM2.5. If you need to remove airborne contaminants that trigger allergic reactions, the Plasma Quad Connect filtration option is worth considering. The Plasma Quad Connect for SEZ-M requires a fitment component (PAC-HA11PAR/PAC-HA21PAU).

The full colour optional touch controller PAR-CT01MAA enables the control of both residential and commercial air conditioning applications. It has a customisable 3.5 inch colour LCD touch panel that makes it easy to use. Available in white or premium black finishes, suitable for any décor.

The SEZ-M Series is a bulkhead type of split system air conditioner designed for those who appreciate the combination of efficient cooling and heating but have limited installation space as required of a ducted air conditioning system. Its low height of only 200 mm allows for discreet installation in the ceiling or concealed behind a bulkhead, making it the right air conditioner for maintaining the visual appeal of your space.
The SEZ-M Series enhances energy efficiency by utilising R32 refrigerant, which offers a higher yield of cooling and heating per unit of energy consumed compared to R410A refrigerant.
The use of a DC fan motor further improves efficiency, as DC motors is more energy-efficient than their AC counterparts. This model uses inverter technology. An Inverter receives information from sensors monitoring operating conditions and adjusts the frequency of the compressor to control the refrigerant flow rate thereby consuming less current and power.
Mitsubishi Electric Inverters ensure that optimised performance and maximised comfort can be achieved while maintaining a higher energy efficiency.

Its design ensures that whether it is providing warm air or cool air, it does so without disturbing the peace of your environment. Rather than having the indoor unit installed on the wall or floor, the unit is installed in the ceiling or concealed behind a bulkhead. The short, straight duct run has a sound level as low as 23dB, it is comparable to the whisper of leaves, making it perfect for environments where noise is a concern, such as bedrooms, libraries, and boardrooms.
The SEZ-M Series is versatile, functioning as both as a source of cooling and as a heating unit. The low height design means this model is an ideal air conditioning solution for rooms with limited ceiling space or apartments where a bulkhead can be built to house the unit. The SEZ-M Series integrates with a wide range of commercial applications, such as motel/hotel rooms, apartments and retail sites. The 200 mm low height allows this unit to be installed in low ceilings or within a bulkhead with a short duct to the air outlet grille, such as above a wardrobe or in living room spaces.
These bulkhead air conditioners are compatible with a wide range of Mitsubishi Electric outdoor units and may be installed as part of a multiple indoor unit system. SEZ-M is compatible with the MXZ multi split system (5.2 – 10 kW), PUMY-SP outdoor units (9 – 15.5 kW) and PUMY-P outdoor units (12.5 – 33.5 kW).
