Air Conditioning Wall Controllers
PAR-41MAA
The Mitsubishi Electric PAR-41MAA is a user-friendly remote controller with easy operation and an inverted colour display to make it easier to see the items on the screen. This wired controller comes with a backlit LCD screen and allows you to program up to eight separate start/stop patterns per day.
The PAR-41MAA is compatible with all Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning units, including M Series, Mr Slim and City Multi indoor units. M Series indoor units require an optional adaptor MAC-334IF-E / MAC-497IF-E to connect to PAR-41MAA.
The PAR-41MAA display can be inverted to turn white background to black, and black characters/symbols to white to make it easier to see items on the screen.
This function monitors the room temperature and automatically activates the heating mode when the temperature drops below the preset minimum temperature setting. It has the same function for cooling, automatically activating the cooling mode when the temperature rises above the preset maximum temperature setting.
The amount of power consumed in each time period is managed so that the demand value is not exceeded. The demand control function can be set to start and finish in 5-minute increments. Additionally, the level can be adjusted to 0, 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90% of maximum capacity, and up to 4 patterns can be set per day. Air conditioning operation is automatically controlled to ensure that electricity in excess of the contracted volume is not consumed.
Temperature range restriction sets the minimum and/or maximum temperature setpoint that can be adjusted from the PAR-41MAA. By limiting the temperature setpoint, the air conditioning unit will not have to work as hard for a sustained period of time which contributes to lower power consumption. It prevents the user from unnecessarily overcooling/overheating the space. By lowering the setpoint temperature by 1°C in cooling or increasing it by 1°C in heating, up to 10% in power consumption can be reduced.* *Based on Mitsubishi Electric laboratory tests in controlled conditions.
After adjusting the setpoint temperature for cooling on a hot summer day or heating on a cold winter day, it is easy to forget to reset the setpoint temperature setting to its original value. The Auto-Return function automatically resets the setpoint temperature back to the original setting after a specified period of time has elapsed, thereby preventing unnecessarily overcooling/overheating the space.
The Auto-Return activation time can be set in 10-minute units, between 30 and 120 minutes. *Auto-Return cannot be used when Temperature Range Restrictions are in use.
Set up to 8 operation patterns per day, including on/off, mode of operation, and temperature setpoint. It allows the user to quickly change between different operation patterns according to different seasons of the year.
*Weekly Timer cannot be used when on/off Timer is in use.
