With a 16.4% reduction in height and a 5% reduction in width compared to the AP22-50 models, the MSZ-AP Mini wall-mounted air conditioner can fit into much smaller spaces than larger models. Dual Barrier Coating reduces dust and greasy dirt from collecting in the air conditioner. Dirt is generally classified into two groups: hydrophilic dirt such as fibre dust and sand dust, and hydrophobic dirt such as oil and cigarette smoke.
The Mitsubishi Electric Dual Barrier Coating works as a two-barrier coating with blended “fluorine particles” that reduce hydrophilic dirt penetration and “hydrophilic particles” that reduce hydrophobic dirt from sticking to the air conditioner. This dual barrier coating on the inner surface helps to keep the air conditioner clean year-round, helping with product longevity.*

Night mode is a selectable function via the remote controller that is designed to increase comfort at night. This is achieved by reducing the LED brightness on the indoor unit, disabling the alert beeps and reducing the outdoor units operational noise levels by up to 3dB(A).
R32 enables increased energy efficiency compared to R410A, with just one third of the global warming potential, the risk of environmental harm is greatly reduced.
Anti-corrosion treatment has been applied to the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit. This coating inhibits corrosion of the aluminium fins; salt in the air causes this, especially in coastal areas. Corrosion of the heat exchanger will affect the efficiency and performance of the AC.
The “i-save” Mode is a simplified setting function that recalls the preferred (preset) temperature by pressing a single button on the remote controller. Press the same button twice in repetition to immediately return to the previous temperature setting.

The vertical (up and down) airflow direction can be adjusted by pressing the VANE button on the remote control. Each press of the button changes the direction and will cycle through the options from AUTO, positions 1-5 and Swing.
Horizontal (left-right) airflow direction can be set by manually moving the vane before starting operation.
