A clean, flexible air conditioning solution
The PKA-M-KAL3 Series wall mounted air conditioning system features a flat panel design that complements a wide range of business interiors such as offices, retail stores and customer-facing environments. While discreet in appearance with its modern design, the unit delivers powerful performance with capacity options of 7.1 kW and 10.0 kW, making it well-suited to larger rooms.
Designed to handle the airborne challenges of cooking areas, the PCA-M71HA2 comes equipped with a heavy-duty oil mist filter. This particular filtration system is 1.5 times more efficient at reducing smoke, grease and fumes before they can enter the unit (when compared to conventional filters). The disposable filter also simplifies upkeep, ensuring your ceiling mounted air conditioning system continues to function
Maintenance becomes more manageable with thoughtful design features that prioritise accessibility and convenience. The optional automatic grille lowering function allows the grille to lower up to 4 metres from the ceiling in eight stages, enabling filter cleaning without towers or ladders. Filters can be easily unclipped, cleaned, and reinserted, helping maintain unit performance while preventing stains on ceiling tiles that occur when filters become dirty. Additionally, the built-in drain pump reduces installation complexity by eliminating one extra component requirement, making this ceiling cassette air conditioner more straightforward to install and service.

The intake grille filter can easily slide out completely. This allows easy cleaning without any special tools (can be washed in water).
An optional wired remote controller and a terminal block are available to suit various installation sites.
Installation of the drain pump enables a drain outlet as high as 800 mm above the base of the indoor unit. Drain water can be discharged easily even if the surface where the wall mounted unit does not have direct access outside, increasing the degree of freedom for installation.
The Mitsubishi Electric PUZ-ZM outdoor units feature reduced power consumption and make it ideally suited to commercial applications.
The full colour optional touch controller PAR-CT01MAA enables the control of both residential and commercial air conditioning applications. It has a customisable 3.5 inch colour LCD touch panel that makes it easy to use. Available in white or premium black finishes, suitable for any décor.
Handheld controller with easy-to-read display. Program a weekly and 24-hour timers to turn the unit on and off daily. *Optional receiver PAR-SA9CA-E required.

This unit is compatible with the Mitsubishi Electric PUZ-ZM Power Inverter Series outdoor air conditioner unit, which is designed for high efficiency and larger homes or medium-sized commercial use.
The PKA Series is well-suited for server room applications due to its larger evaporator coil design, which delivers higher sensible heat ratios compared to residential units. This makes it an economical split system choice for environments with high sensible loads and minimal latent cooling requirements, such as server rooms, laboratories, and other commercial spaces where equipment generates significant dry heat. *Note – All server/comms room applications must be set to 24°C and is subject to 1 year parts and labour warranty.
With an optional Wi-Fi adapter*, the PKA-M-KAL3 Series can be controlled from a smartphone, tablet or web browser using the Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi Control App. This feature allows you to utilise your wall mounted air conditioner in more convenient ways, ensuring you use only as much energy as needed, or allowing for dynamic temperature adjustments throughout the day and year.
