Anti-corrosion treatment has been applied to the heat exchanger of the outdoor units. This coating prevents corrosion of the aluminium fins caused by salt in the air especially in coastal areas. Corrosion of the heat exchanger will affect the efficiency and performance of the AC.
The built-in Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter works to trap allergens such as mould and bacteria by using enzymes retained in the filter to decompose them.
Night mode is a selectable function via the remote controller that is designed to increase comfort at night. This is achieved by reducing the LED brightness on the indoor unit, disabling the alert beeps and reducing the outdoor units operational noise levels by up to 3dB(A).
Dual Barrier Coating reduces dust and greasy dirt from collecting in the air conditioner. Dirt is generally classified into two groups: hydrophilic dirt such as fibre dust and sand dust, and hydrophobic dirt such as oil and cigarette smoke.
The Mitsubishi Electric Dual Barrier Coating works as a two-barrier coating with blended “fluorine particles” that reduce hydrophilic dirt penetration and “hydrophilic particles” that reduce hydrophobic dirt from sticking to the air conditioner. This dual barrier coating on the inner surface helps to keep the air conditioner clean year-round, helping with product longevity.*

Use this function to ensure that the airflow circulates to areas far across the room. Press the Long Airflow icon on the remote controller to extend reach up to as far as 12 metres from the unit.
Point the air where you want it. Press the Wide Vane icon on the remote to move the airflow left or right. Each press steps through the settings, from far left across to far right. The final setting is swing, which sweeps the air steadily from side to side.
The optional air purifying filter ‘Plasma Quad Connect’ is suitable for both new and existing installations. The Plasma Quad Connect Filter is a secondary filter connected to your air conditioner.
Plasma Quad technology significantly improves indoor air quality by inhibiting six key indoor pollutants; Influenza virus, bacteria, PM2.5, allergens, mould and dust.*

The outdoor unit includes a demand response enabling device (DRED), allowing your electricity provider to activate and control the system at 3 preprogrammed modes, in response to signals sent from the electricity provider at times when it is necessary to help reduce peak demand.*

The “i-save” Mode is a simplified setting function that recalls the preferred (preset) temperature by pressing a single button on the remote controller. Press the same button twice in repetition to immediately return to the previous temperature setting.

Dual Barrier Coating technology enhances the cleanliness and efficiency of Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners. Applied to both the heat exchanger and the exterior surfaces of the unit, this cutting-edge coating acts as a shield against dust and greasy dirt. This not only cuts down on the need for frequent cleaning, but also keeps airborne pollutants from sticking to the air conditioner. As a result, your unit is not only cleaner but also requires less cleaning.
When it comes to installing air conditioners, it’s best to entrust the task to a trained professional. The installation process typically involves mounting the indoor unit on an interior wall and positioning the outdoor unit in a suitable outdoor location. These two units are then interconnected using refrigerant lines and electrical wiring. This process could take a few hours or more, depending on the complexity of the system, the existing infrastructure and the size of the space.
Reusable filters should be cleaned every 1 to 2 months, while disposable filters should be replaced every 1 to 3 months. However, the frequency of cleaning or replacing air filters depends on aspects such as usage, environmental conditions, and the type of filter. You may need to clean or replace the filters more regularly depending on factors like pets, allergies and local air quality. Regular filter maintenance ensures good air quality, efficient operation, and optimal system performance.
The MSZ-AS90VGD can be controlled via Wi-Fi for easy and convenient programming. Wi-Fi control allows the convenience of remote control functionality, seamlessly connecting your air conditioner to your smartphone, tablet, or any compatible device with an internet connection. The optional Wi-Fi adaptor is required for each indoor unit.
