Hot Water Systems
CAHV-P500YB-HPB
The CAHV air source hot water heat pump system can operate singularly, or form part of a multiple unit system. The CAHV also comes equipped with a wide range of controller features as standard.
The CAHV system provides hot water from 25°C to 70°C year-round without any booster heater, making it an ideal replacement for a boiler system, or as a source of heating sanitary hot water for commercial applications, space heating, underfloor heating & community heating for residential developments.
The 45 kW hot water heat pump can produce water temperatures up to 70°C which is suitable for applications for sanitary water applications such as for gyms, hotels and motels, apartments, commercial kitchens and laundries, office buildings, and the food processing industry.
Hot water produced by the system can be used in under floor heating.
Suitable for sanitary water heating when using a hermetic storage tank.
Mitsubishi Electric hot water heat pump is designed to provide an alternative to traditional gas-fired hot water systems. The heat pump uses electricity to extract heat from the air and transfer it to the water in the hot water tank, making it an efficient solution.
By using electricity to generate hot water, you can reduce your dependence on natural gas, a non-renewable resource.
The hot water pump ensures an exceptionally high level of reliability through a backup function.*1 If either one of the compressors malfunctions, the other compressor maintains operation to avoid a complete stop of the system.
The rotation function is also available. When two or more units are in the system, the unit runs alternately, ensuring an optimum product lifecycle for both component units.
*1 If the main circuit board malfunctions, the backup function and rotation function are not available.
*1 Capacity drops by 50%.
The hot water heat pump can be operated at outdoor temperatures between -20°C and 40°C. It delivers precise comfort even on the coldest days of the year. The technology behind this is a Flash Injection Circuit, which provides the optimum amount of refrigerant to the system via the compressor through a specially designed injection port to ensure a particularly stable operation.
Lower sound pressure levels have been achieved thanks to the development of a new fan, allowing the unit to operate at 51 dB(A)*.
*Based on theoretical calculations for a distance of 10 m.
The system is equipped with Efficiency Priority Mode and Capacity Priority Mode. Capacity Priority Mode is more effective when used with a boiler because the boiler’s fuel cost and CO2 emissions can be reduced.
This product can be controlled alongside Mitsubishi Electric City Multi, Mr Slim, e-Series chillers and other products.
Comes complete with an internal 316 stainless steel brazed plate heat exchanger. This allows for easy installation of connecting water pipes to where the hot water is required.
The PAR-W31MAAJ wired remote controller provides control when connected to e-Series EACV1500/1800 and QAHV units. Features include button lock, show contact number under fault condition, fault codes, water temperature display and setting, and weekly scheduling.
