Hot Water Systems
QAHV-N560YA-HPB
*Under normal heating conditions at outdoor temperature: 16°CDB/12°CWB, inlet water temperature 17°C. outlet water temperature 65°C.
The QAHV CO2 heat pump hot water system is designed for commercial hot water applications, delivering hot water up to 90°C to provide a low-carbon solution for hospitals, hotels, leisure centres and student accommodation.
The 40 kW hot water heat pump can produce water temperatures up to 90°C which is suitable for applications for sanitary water applications such as for gyms, hotels and motels, apartments, commercial kitchens and laundries, office buildings, and the food processing industry.
QAHV adopts CO2 (R744) as a refrigerant, which does not destroy the ozone layer (OPD=0) and has a significantly low global warming potential (GWP=1). With CO2 as a refrigerant, QAHV can contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
*ODP: Ozone Depletion Potential, GWP: Global Warming Potential
Suitable for sanitary water heating when using a hermetic storage tank.
Mitsubishi Electric hot water heat pump is designed to provide an alternative to traditional gas-fired hot water systems. The heat pump uses electricity to extract heat from the air and transfer it to the water in the hot water tank, making it an efficient solution.
By using electricity to generate hot water, you can reduce your dependence on natural gas, a non-renewable resource.
QAHV is able to provide full heating capacity even at ambient temperatures of -3°C. Furthermore, the unit is operable and can supply 90°C hot water in ambient temperatures as low as -25°C. The technology behind this is a Flash Injection Circuit, which provides the optimum amount of refrigerant to the system via the compressor through a specially designed injection port to ensure a particularly stable operation.
This product can be controlled alongside Mitsubishi Electric City Multi, Mr Slim, e-Series chillers and other products.
The PAR-W31MAAJ wired remote controller provides control when connected to e-Series EACV1500/1800 and QAHV units. Features include button lock, show contact number under fault condition, fault codes, water temperature display and setting, and weekly scheduling.
