The Mitsubishi Electric Zone Controller with Intelligent Comfort integrates seamlessly with your ducted system, allowing  you to turn  areas of your home on or off. The ability to turn off zones which you are not using helps to improve energy efficiency.

Flexible Zone Options_on-off

Flexible Zone Options

Configure up to 4 zones with PAC-ZC04S240C-A interface or 10 zones with the PAC-ZC10S240C-A interface. The interfaces offer a common zone or spill zone configuration and control via ON/OFF damper motors to suit a wide range of home layouts. The interfaces include an onboard 24 Vac transformer, eliminating the need for third-party transformer.

Flexible Sensor Options

Flexible Sensor Options

The Zone Controller supports both wired Sensors and wireless sensors. The wired sensors include the main wall controller PAR-ZM01A-A or PAC-SE42TS-E sensors. Using the wireless receiver PAR-ZR01R-A, wireless temperature sensors PAR-ZR01S-A, along with wireless zone remote controllers PAR-ZR01AW/B-A are supported. These can help reduce installation time and costs. Multiple sensors can be assigned to a single zone, enabling temperature averaging in large zones.

Averaging Temperature Control_on-off

Averaging Temperature Control

The on/off zone control system allows you to turn off areas that are not in use. A single system setpoint can be adjusted in 0.5 °C increments. The zone system averages the active available sensors connected to the system to control the system to meet the desired setpoint. Plus, with the Wi-Fi App and Wi-Fi Adaptor you can adjust every zone from wherever you are.

Air Balance Function_on-off

Air Balance Function

An impressive addition to the on/off type zone controller, the air balancing function lets the installer set maximum opening positions for the zone dampers to allow air balancing. This feature helps the installer balance the airflow for all the zones in the system to ensure a more even temperature throughout the zones.

Aesthetic Controls_zc

Smart Notifications_zc

Smart Notifications

Your smart zone controller keeps you informed with handy alerts, reminding you when it’s time to clean or replace the air filter, change the batteries in wireless sensors, or schedule a service. These notifications help ensure your system runs efficiently and keeps your home comfortable year-round.

Weekly Schedule_zc

Weekly Schedule

Enjoy more energy savings by programming your Smart Zone Controller to work only when you need it with the weekly schedule function. The schedule is easily disabled for further savings when you are on away on business or holiday.

Dry Mode Interlock

Dry Mode Interlock

Dry Mode Interlock provides active humidity control to improve indoor comfort, particularly during mild, humid conditions. When the system is set to “Dry” mode, it monitors humidity levels in each zone. It automatically controls dehumidification to reduce excess moisture, helping spaces feel more comfortable without unnecessary cooling.
Humidity levels are supplied by the Wireless Temperature Sensor (PAR-ZR01S-A) or Wireless Zone Remote Controller (PAR-ZR01AW/B-A), which detect both temperature and humidity within the conditioned space. Users can set a target humidity between 40% and 70% in 5% increments, allowing the system to start and stop dehumidification as needed to maintain the selected level. This provides consistent humidity control across the home while supporting stable, everyday comfort.

Humidifier Interlock

Humidifier Interlock

Humidifier Interlock helps maintain comfortable indoor humidity levels during heating mode, when warm air can feel dry. When this function is enabled, the system allows the user to set a desired humidity level that is maintained while the air conditioner is operating in heating.

The feature works by controlling a compatible third-party humidifier connected to the system. If humidity falls below the user-defined set point, the system automatically activates the humidifier to add moisture back into the air. Once the target humidity is reached, the humidifier is switched off. This provides controlled humidity during heating, improving comfort for occupants sensitive to dry indoor air.

This feature requires connection to a third-party humidifier and installation by licensed professionals.

Retro-fit friendly

Retro-fit friendly

The Zone Controller can handle a range of different third-party zone dampers on a single system, meaning your existing equipment (if working and in good condition) may not need to be replaced when retrofitting or expanding*. The zone controller is also backward compatible with older Mitsubishi Electric ducted models. Contact your Mitsubishi Electric sales representative for more compatibility information.

* Subject to compatibility of your existing zone dampers.

Simple Setup & Commissioning

Simple Setup & Commissioning

Use the existing Wi-Fi Control app with the newly added BlueTooth function for Installers for easy zone settings setup, air balancing, sensor pairing, and function settings, such as indoor unit static selection, during commissioning. Wi-Fi not required during setup.
