The Mitsubishi Electric MEHP-iS-G07 air source reversible heat pump is a versatile heating and cooling unit equipped with a variable-speed compressor and R32 refrigerant. It is available in capacities from 50 to 110 kW and is suitable for both residential and small to medium-sized commercial applications such as hotels and office buildings.

One of the unique features of the MEHP-iS-G07 is that it can produce medium temperature water for space heating and cooling, as well as hot water for domestic use up to 65°C without any auxiliary accessory. This makes it a viable alternative to traditional gas or fuel oil heating systems.

The heat pump is highly efficient, especially at partial loads, and it produces extremely low noise emissions. Additionally, it has a compact footprint across the range, making it ideal for even the most demanding needs. The system is optimised for heating operation and features a wide operating range that allows the production of hot water for comfort heating applications and DHW production even at very low outdoor temperatures.

The system connects to a range of hydronic terminals for comfort solutions. The FCU range includes ducted, ceiling cassette, floor console, and wall-mounted units.

Radiant underfloor heating source

The packaged solution provides a very compact, plug-and-play unit thanks to the integrated variable-speed hydronic module. The system can produce hot water for radiant underfloor heating. The benefit is that if you need underfloor heating, electric hot water and heating and cooling, a single outdoor unit can do it all.

The controller manages the production of domestic hot water through a 3-way valve to be installed externally to the unit. The system can produce hot water for radiant underfloor heating or household use. For comfort solutions, the system connects to a range of hydronic terminals. The FCU range includes ducted, ceiling cassette, floor console and wall mounted units.

Compact footprint_mehp

Compact footprint

The MEHP-iS-G07 and MECH-iS-G07 achieve top-level energy efficiencies within a compact footprint. The range comprises of 7 new sizes developed within 3 compact modules to fit any thermal load requirement up to 110kW.

The compact design of this range makes it a high-performance solution in terms of footprint per kW. The reduced width of the units is ideal for multi-unit transportation, with each module only 1.1 m wide across the range.

High efficiency at partial loads

High efficiency at partial loads

High values of seasonal efficiency thanks to the modulation of all the electric motors present in the units: compressors, fans and water pump. The unit provides the exact capacity in correspondence with the actual needs of the building: high efficiency translates into reduced energy consumption throughout the unit’s working period.

Smart Coordinated Defrost_mehp

Smart Coordinated Defrost

Smart control logic for coordinating the non-simultaneous start of defrosting cycles of a group of heat pumps:
• Minimises the energy required for defrost
• Increase the maximum heat output of the system during defrost
• Increased system efficiency
• Minimum impact on leaving water temperature

Wide operating range_mehp

Wide operating range

Unit operation with outdoor air temperature from -20°C up to 40°C in heat pump mode. Production of condenser leaving water temperature from 25°C up to 65°C.

MEHP-iS-G07 can produce, alone and without any auxiliary accessory, both medium temperature water for space heating and cooling, and hot water for domestic use up to 65°C. These key features make MEHP-iS-G07 an interesting alternative for classic gas or fuel oil heating systems.

Packaged Unit (Plug & Play solution)_mehp

Packaged Unit (Plug & Play solution)

The packaged monobloc heat pumps are particularly easy to install. The hydraulic components are all contained inside the unit, and the pipe connections are hydraulic, so the typical installation procedures of direct expansion air conditioning systems (vacuum, refrigerant topping up, etc.) are not necessary.

Options include factory installed single or twin in-line pump, low or high head, fixed or variable primary flow (VPF), expansion vessel and buffer tank.

Quiet operation_mehp

Quiet operation

Units are fitted with acoustic enclosures for compressors and hydronic kits as standard.

R32 refrigerant

R32 refrigerant

R32 enables increased energy efficiency compared to R410A, with just one third of the global warming potential, the risk of environmental harm is greatly reduced.

New Generation Inverter EC Fans

New Generation Inverter EC Fans

High-performing EC fans are made of polymeric ultralight material and help improve airflow modulation at partial loads. The fans deliver significant advantages in terms of reducing noise levels by 4-5 dB(A) compared to traditional* solutions and reducing the absorbed power by 25% compared to traditional* solutions. *Traditional is a non-inverter system/fixed speed compressor (EC fans compared to AC fans).

Variable speed twin-rotary and scroll compressors

Variable speed twin-rotary and scroll compressors

The range features high quality and highly reliable R32 refrigerant-optimised Mitsubishi Electric twin rotary or variable speed scroll compressors (Inverter Driven), high-efficiency EC fans, and an electronic expansion valve. The compressors are soundproofed and installed on rubber anti-vibration mounts.
