Mitsubishi Electric Australia makes two new appointments

Mitsubishi Electric Australia has announced two new appointments within the company across the technology and product departments. These changes reflect the ongoing commitment of Mitsubishi Electric Australia to meet the dynamic requirements of the business and its customers.

Ari Grimekis has been promoted to Technical Manager and will continue to report to National Product Manager, Atesh Mani. With over 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Ari is highly skilled in HVAC engineering, business development, project engineering, and electrical engineering.

Based in Sydney at the Mitsubishi Electric Australian head office, Ari’s new role will have him oversee multiple technology aspects of the air conditioning products across multiple categories. This includes managing the technology training across the country and some international factories to teach internal staff about new and existing units. He will also continue to provide his high-level expertise on how products should be designed, working closely with both factories on product development for the Australian market as well as customers to discuss their specific needs.

Commenting on his new appointment, Ari said, “My aim is to raise the standard of the world class training that we do as a company and filter that through to our sales representatives and external consultants. I’m keen to support this through my knowledge from past experiences and passion for technology, improving products for the HVAC industry and providing the correct solutions for our customers”.

Arnav Maini has re-joined the Mitsubishi Electric Australia National Product as Senior Product Engineer in February 2020, after gaining two years’ experience with the Mitsubishi Electric UK team. With over eight years in the industry, Arnav is an experienced Product Support Engineer skilled in HVAC design, CAD and engineering management. In his new role, Arnav will provide product support for air conditioning products.

Working in the larger UK market and seeing first-hand the learning solutions they have to offer, Arnav has gained experience around how a different market is currently tackling challenges that will eventually make their way to Australia.

Drawing on his experience Arnav says that there are some things happening in the UK that he wants to bring here such as investing in resources to take training online. Commenting on his new appointment, Arnav said, “My main goal is to have the right systems and resources in place to make everyone’s jobs easier in order to sell the product. We want to not only sell the products but also ideas, so it’s important that our sales team are 100 per cent confident with our products.”
