Single Room Air Conditioner

Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-GS Series wall-mounted air conditioners are available in capacities ranging from 2.5 kW to 7.8 kW. This reverse-cycle air conditioner delivers air conditioned comfort all year round.
Advanced comfort and convenience
Further enhance this air conditioner's functionality with the optional Advanced Air Filtration system, the Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter. This clever addition effectively traps and neutralises allergens, promoting a cleaner, healthier indoor environment. The series also features a Quick Clean design that allows easy removal of the horizontal vane and quick latch fin guards with vertical vanes attached that opens out to provide easy access to a unit to keep it clean and functioning in peak condition.

The optional Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter works to trap allergens such as mould and bacteria by using enzymes retained in the filter to decompose them.
The MSZ-GS Series have a built-in quick clean function that allows easy removal of the horizontal vane and quick latch fin guards with vertical vanes attached that open out to provide easy access to a unit to keep it clean and functioning in peak condition. Ensure the unit is Off before utilising this feature.
The MUZ-GS Series condensers has an auto restart function that activates after the event of a power outage, so you don’t have to worry about having to manually restart the unit once the power returns.
R32 enables increased energy efficiency compared to R410A, with just one third of the global warming potential, the risk of environmental harm is greatly reduced.
Anti-corrosion treatment has been applied to the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit. This coating slows the corrosion process of the aluminium fins; this is caused by salt in the air, especially in coastal areas. (Corrosion of the heat exchanger will affect efficiency and performance.)

Reverse-cycle air conditioners, like the MSZ-GS Series, operate by providing both cooling and heating from a single unit. In cooling mode, they extract heat from the inside and release it outside, thereby cooling the indoor air. In heating mode, this process is reversed—the unit captures any available heat from the outside air and transfers it indoors, effectively warming the indoor space.
Portable air conditioners are single-unit systems designed for mobility. However, some models may need a window kit to vent hot air, and you may need to empty a drain pan periodically during cooling operations. According to EnergyRating.gov.au, portable air conditioners with a single duct to vent hot air will display a Zoned Energy Rating Label of no stars. While it might feel cool in front of these units, they draw in warm air from other areas, which has a negative effect on the cooling performance. They are an inefficient form of cooling.
Wall mounted split system air conditioners, such as the MSZ-GS series, require permanent installation of indoor and outdoor units, which are connected by hidden refrigerant piping and an electrical connection.
