Modular Chillers
EAHV-M1500-1800YCL(-N)(-BS)
E-series EAHV YCL units are modular, air-to-water, reverse-cycle heat pumps designed for comfort, process and IT cooling applications, delivering hot water up to 55°C to provide a low-carbon solution for offices, hospitals, hotels, leisure centres, and student accommodation, art galleries, and many more applications.
E-series YCL heat pumps use R32 refrigerant. R32 enables increased energy efficiency compared to R410A; with just one-third of the global warming potential, the risk of environmental harm is greatly reduced.
The use of an R32-compatible compressor and flat tube heat exchanger allows for an approximately 68% reduction in refrigerant volume (approximately 89% reduction in CO2 equivalent).
Equipped with inverter compressors and inverter fans, YCL modular heat pumps achieve high energy-saving performance, delivering exceptional full load and seasonal efficiencies.
Operable in cooling mode at an outdoor air temperature of up to 52⁰C and operable in heating mode at intake air temperature down to -20⁰C.
YCL Modular Heat Pumps can produce hot water temperatures up to 55⁰C designed to provide an alternative to traditional gas-fired hot water systems. Suitable for comfort heating and sanitary hot water applications such as for gyms, hotels, apartments, commercial kitchens and laundries, office buildings and the food processing industry.
These modular heat pump units are equipped with an automatic Optimum Frequency Control function to achieve maximum efficiency based on the field load demand. This modular system also enables rotation operation and easy maintenance. Maximum capacity of 1080kW in a single group of 6-module combinations.
The heat pump’s small footprint and minimal installation space requirements make it suitable for compact plantrooms and refurbishment projects. Built-in header configuration is also available, and pipe connecting kits (EC-01HK and EC-02HK) can be supplied to fit within the unit’s structure for further space saving and simplification of installation.
YCL Modular Heat Pumps can be controlled using the local remote controller PAR-W31MAA or a centralised controller AE-200E. The system can connect to a central monitoring device via AE-200E using BACnet® and via MODBUS with a Procon BEMS Mini (A1M). The control method can be selected at each customer's request.
