New large area installation projector from Mitsubishi Electric takes 1080P resolution to the next level

With the ever increasing adoption of full high definition visual media, finding the right display hardware to present it accurately can be a challenge, especially when it comes to large venues such as lecture halls or conference rooms. Realising this, Mitsubishi Electric has developed the FL6900U LCD installation projector. With a native 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 4000 ANSI lumens brightness, the FL6900U reproduces clear, vivid full high definition images perfect for seminars, lectures and meetings.

With a variety of optional lenses available, this model offers flexibility for any room size. Users are empowered to select the lens that best fits individual installation parameters, while the optimum design for light source lamp temperature control means the FL6900U supports a lamp life up to 4,000 hours for huge reductions in running costs.

"The higher the resolution, the more impressive your presentations can be” said Stuart Baker, Senior Manager of Mitsubishi Electric Visual Information Systems division. "With its native 1080P resolution, the FL6900U is the perfect model for these types of high end visuals. It is compatible with HDTV broadcasts and Blu-Ray DVDs and has plenty of input connectors for both video and data input sources”.

The FL6900U utilises Mitsubishi Electric sRGB colour profile technology to help eliminate hue variations and accurately match the way colours look in real life. It also has a low fan noise of 29 dB(A) so users won’t have to raise their voice to be heard whilst presenting. A built in RJ-45 port provides network connectivity, giving maintenance or production teams the ability to remotely manage the projector from their laptop or PC. Additionally, security features such as a customisable logo screen, password lock and motion sensor alarm help to thwart would-be robbers.
