Mitsubishi Electric's new data and video projector, the XD500U-ST, incorporates an ultra powerful short throw lens to produce an image of 152 cm at a distance of just 83 cm from the screen. At such a short distance, presenters now don't need to concern themselves with casting a shadow across the screen. The projector is perfect for classrooms or small presentation rooms.
The Mitsubishi Electric XD500U-ST has a 2500:1 contrast ratio and 2000 ANSI lumens. As an added benefit the projector has optional whiteboard and blackboard modes.
"Often in class rooms and small boardrooms presentations it can be awkward when you have to have the projector sitting at the opposite end of the room and the presenters shadow blocks out half the screen," said Thomas Seeto, Director, Mitsubishi Electric Australia. "Mitsubishi Electric wanted take some of the hassle out of presentations by producing a projector that could create good size quality images at short distances."
The Mitsubishi Electric XD500U-ST incorporates BrilliantColor™ technology for richer colours and better images so that you are not compromising on picture quality in the short throw projector. It has Mitsubishi Electric's 6-segment colour wheel and coded colour algorithms so that you don't get washed out images in bright classrooms. The projector also has audio and video inputs for computer and video sources.
The Mitsubishi Electric XD500U-ST includes splash screen and wall screen support and a centre lens design for easy symmetrical installation. The projector also has time saving instant shutdown feature there is no need to wait around after a presentation.
