The WD510U portable WXGA Projector heralds a new wide screen revolution with its WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) resolution - 1.3 times the display area of conventional XGA projectors. Users are empowered to screen two windows at once, or play widescreen DVDs in native resolution to ensure that they never have to rely on compression and sacrifice stunningly precise detail again.
The WD510U’s BrilliantColor™ technology delivers astonishingly rich, vibrant colours for a truly comprehensive viewing experience. Mitsubishi Electric has pioneered a breakthrough in the range of colours previously available by adding yellow and cyan segments to the colour wheel for a wider colour spectrum. Especially colour-coded algorithms to emphasise brightness or colour modes ensure that the WD510U matches any environment.
Combining BrilliantColor™ technology with selective lamp powered modulation techniques also allows the WD510U to intelligently boost colours, improving the intensity and vibrancy of an entire image.
“The W510U is the perfect solution for customers that need their presentation system to deal with wide format resolutions accurately while still maintaining brilliant colour, detail and image quality,” said Stuart Baker, National Manager of the Visual Information Systems department, Mitsubishi Electric.
“With our BrilliantColor™ technology, 2600 ANSI Lumens brightness and native wide-screen resolution, the WD510U is helping to pioneer the idea that bigger really does mean better when it comes to wide screen projectors,” he said.
The enhanced security features such as reinforced anchor bars and password protection, a long-life lamp up to 4,000 hours and a time-saving instant shut down function position the WD510U as an incredibly value added, low maintenance investment.
