SYDNEY 5th March, 2008 – Mitsubishi Electric Australia today revealed its complete 2008 Visual Information Systems product range. Two standout products from the new range include the 56 inch ultra high resolution LCD display and the latest large venue format video projector, the Mitsubishi Electric FL7000U.
The Mitsubishi Electric QFHD is Visual Information Systems newest 56 inch LCD display. The LCD monitor is ideal for simulated tandem displays in control rooms, computer aided design (CAD) review for high resolution digital imaging, security camera monitoring, geographic and mapping design and digital archive viewing in museums, libraries and universities.
Matt Hanna, Product Manager, Visual Information Systems, said, “The 56” QFHD screen is the latest in our range of information display technology and emphasises our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative solutions for the visual information systems market.”
The Mitsubishi Electric 56” QFHD monitor offers more than eight mega pixels (3840 x 2160) in one single screen. That’s equivalent to four full high definition monitors of 1920 x 1080P display in a two by two format.
The screen can realise a brightness of 500cd/m2 with a remarkable contrast of 1200:1 producing sharp crisp images. The Mitsubishi Electric QFHD lowers the total cost of ownership through lower power consumption and longer life operations compared to other display systems with similar resolutions.
Mitsubishi Electric Australia is also releasing the latest in large venue format video projectors, the Mitsubishi Electric FL7000U. This versatile projector delivers presentations in full 1080p high-definition, complete with split (side-by-side) screen display.
Matt added, “The FL7000U is the perfect projector for big venues in the education, science, entertainment and business sectors. It is compatible with HDTV broadcasts and high definition DVDs to project impressive, full 1080p images in all their digital glory.”
The Mitsubishi Electric FL7000U delivers super bright 5000 lumen images, ideal for large function rooms and conference halls. The quiet 29dB(A) noise level of the fan won’t distract audiences either. Designed with optimum lamp temperature control, the FL7000U can support a lamp life of up to 4000 hours – saving money on frequent lamp replacements.
It comes with the enhanced connectivity of the RJ45 connector, providing AV management with the ease of LAN control. The projector view software included with the unit can remotely manage all the projectors on a network with the added email alert feature if a projector needs attention. The additional anti-theft features including password security, motion alarm and screen capture are designed to prevent physical theft through software passwords and a high decibel alarm.
The differences between display systems are minimised through Mitsubishi Electric’s sRGB colour profile technology. This eliminates hue variations and accurately matches the way colours look in real life.
“The new 2008 range capitalises on last year’s success as we move to build a strong brand leadership in the key Visual Information Systems markets,” Matt concluded.
