With the ability to control both DVR and IP based security systems, Mitsubishi Electric Net Hunter software lets security administrators make the move to a full IP CCTV solution gradually.
The security surveillance market is in a process of a technological change. CCTV systems have been and are still based on Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) connected with analogue cameras, however there is a migration process occurring towards IP CCTV security systems. Realising this, Mitsubishi Electric has developed Net Hunter - a software solution that is capable of controlling DVR, Analogue and IP products all at the same time.

Net Hunter is an essential single-server video system that has been designed to manage IP cameras, Network Video Recorders (NVR) and DVRs. Combining Mitsubishi Electric CCTV expertise with a new user-friendly design format, Net Hunter IP can integrate both IP and analogue cameras quickly and easily.
Operating a Mitsubishi IP Camera with Net Hunter could not be simpler, with features such as camera control, motion detection (HW), intelligent PTZ and local drive archiving.
Net Hunter also has remote access capability, allowing users to monitor their CCTV footage from anywhere across the world and is based on a flexible server-client architecture system; users can choose to install the software on just one PC, a Server, Client systems, or on Client and Server systems together. The software is compatible with all Mitsubishi Electric DVRs, giving users the opportunity to move towards IP solutions gradually over time.
