Specifically designed to support the shifting trend towards widescreen computer displays, the EW270U from Mitsubishi Electric delivers bright clear images in their native WXGA resolution.

With a display area 1.3 times that of conventional XGA projectors (1280 x 800 pixels), the Mitsubishi Electric EW270U DLP projector is fully compatible with wider screen resolutions. This gives the user the ability to show more than one window from a computer source, as well as display DVD presentations free from compression. The 2600 ANSI lumens brightness and 2000:1 contrast ratio make the EW270U ideal for use as a classroom or conference room projector, delivering clear, bright images even with ambient light present. It also boasts a range of performance enhancing features such as:
Long Lamp life
Thanks to its optimised lamp temperature control, the EW270U widescreen projector has a lamp life of up to 4000 hours (in low mode), meaning fewer lamp changes and lower cost of ownership. The filter free design also helps to increase the life of the lamp, as filter clogging can significantly lower lamp life.
Network Connectivity
The EW270U is equipped with a built-in LAN (RJ-45) terminal for remote operation when connected to a network. Additionally, when used with Crestron® software, integrated control of up to 250 projectors including power on/off control, message display on multiple projectors and confirmation of lamp service hours is possible.
BrilliantColor™ technology, Six segment colour wheel
For better, more accurate colour reproduction, the projector features BrilliantColor™ technology, as well as a six segment colour wheel and optimised colour coding algorithms.
Colour Wall Screen support
Projects natural colour images not only onto white or black boards, but light-yellow, blue, light-green and pink walls as well.
Direct Power Off
A handy feature when you've got a busy schedule to keep. This allows you to disconnect the power cord straight away once the projector has been turned off, removing the previously required waiting time for the lamp to cool down.
Silent 29dBA Operation (Low Mode)
Stand-by Mode less than 1W* power consumption
